Location: the hotel was so close to Napier by Cyclone Gabrielle as well as the town centre and seafront. We had air conditioned and great-sized room with safe.

The total stay was amazing for 2 nights. The restaurant was good with beautiful food here, I had savoury dishes. A tub and a jacuzzi were available there.

The superior queen room is exceptional with a view of the church, separate shower, as for instance.

Lovely bar and approachable staff with management who walk the talk. Location not far from the many cafes in Napier, the city centre and the complimentary Port. Also, in the Art Deco district.

Relaxing room with sea view. Amazing location to complementary port. And just next door to all restaurants bars and all wine bars, pubs, and the North Island.

The location was amazing, just a short stroll away from Bluff Hill Lookout. Besides, it was so close to the foreshore, 2 blocks from the beach and other attractions.

Lovely art deco hotel in a prime location close to shops, restaurants, and the promenade. The room was comfortable with an incredibly cozy bed. The owner, who also served as staff, was incredibly kind and helpful. Convenient and secure parking was available across the road at a reasonable rate. Although the restaurant and bar were closed during our stay, they looked exceptional and we would have definitely utilized them if open. The hotel also had a delightful library on the first floor with complimentary port for guests.
Totally recommend this hotel.

It's art deco design and decadent feel. Hayley's help and warmth the following morning.
We were utterly misled at every stage over the availability of dinner. The booking, the hotel information and even the staff informed us that we could eat dinner in the hotel. Unfortunately nobody seemed to know that the restaurant wasn't open on a Tuesday night. It was torrential rain outside, so our 'Dinner' turned out to be a modest microwaved one course 'meal' chosen from a tiny selection in the bar, sat on a bar stool, with no ambience whatsoever. We went to bed hungry after a long day's journey. Just not good enough. Sorry.

It was an old-fashioned hotel. The continental breakfast was freshly prepared. There were climate control, a balcony, and a safe in the room, liked that. The accommodation had a central location right in the city walking distance to all the shops.

Enjoyed its very attentive and expert staff.
The hotel was fairly clean, being close to the beach. The location in a shopping area was excellent. I ate at the in-house restaurant near the venue.
